This year’s ICEBOX festival is now accepting entries! The festival, which is endorsed by Creative Commons, encourages all animators, storytellers, documentary filmmakers, bands and music video producers, VJs and experimental artists - student or professional - to take advantage of this opportunity to screen their work around South Africa. Collectives, festivals and media/film schools are also welcome to share their archives.

There is also a call to the more ‘open-minded artists’ .. and we know that this means YOU … to put your source material and finished works forward for a Creative Commons DVD compilation. If you do so, you will be joining the ranks of such internationally-acclaimed artists as the Beastie Boys, Chuck D. and Pearl Jam, who have released their work under Creative Commons licence.
