I’ve just come back from iLaw at the Berkman Center, Harvard University, where I held a ‘Food for thought’ dinner on Creative Commons in Africa. It was great fun to meet people from Brazil, Peru and the US who are working on Creative Commons-related activities and to talk about how the iCommons system works. Larry Lessig gave such a stirring address about Creative Commons as a viable alternative to the extremism in copyright law that we’d heard about during the first and second days that I have no doubt many more people will join as a result. |
